Newborns and natural fibres
Generally, newborns love to be wrapped in a blanket made of soft natural wool-cashmere. Considering that our cashmere blankets are so soft, smooth and elegant, this is understandable.....but there is another explanation.
Newborns are unable to control their own temperature, which means they are often either too hot or too cold, and this is where the natural fiber of cashmere comes into play, because it is a breathable material that acts as a natural regulator allowing the wearer (in this case the person covered in it while sleeping) to stay warm when it is cold and cool when it is hot.
No artificial material can do as much as cashmere and natural fibers.
Science has achieved great progress, but for this purpose it has not managed to produce something that can outperform our favorite fabric.
Consider that, unlike synthetic materials, cashmere does not contain any chemicals or toxic substances, it is hypoallergenic, antibacterial and of course, flame retardant.
Science has proven that babies sleep better in clothing and bedding made from natural fibers.
